Privacy policy
Last updated 20 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data MonthlyFinders collects when you use www.monthlyfinders.com, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).
Who is responsible for your data
MonthlyFinders is operated by Better Home and Better Living Co., Ltd., which is the data controller for the personal data described here. For anything about your data, email info@silqhaus.com.
What we collect
Browsing the site. You can browse without telling us who you are. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages are viewed, how visitors found us, their device and browser, and roughly where they are (country and city). It does not tell us who you are, and nothing you type in the booking form is sent to it. We do not use advertising tools.
When you request to book. We collect what you enter in the form:
- your name, email address and phone number
- the messaging apps you chose and your ID on each
- the home you are interested in, your move-in date, length of stay and guests
- your message, if you write one
Along with it we record the date and time, your IP address and your browser type, so we have a record of when and how you agreed to be contacted.
Why we use it
- To answer your request: check availability and price, and arrange your stay. This is done with your consent, given when you tick the box on the form, and because you asked us to take steps before entering into a rental agreement.
- To keep a record of your consent, and to protect against misuse of the form.
- To see which pages and homes people find useful, through Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- To send you news about homes and offers only if you separately agree to it. Saying no does not affect your request.
Your name, email, phone, a messaging contact and the consent box are required. Without them we cannot reply to your request.
Who sees it
Our team, who handle your request. We also use service providers to run the site and our systems: website hosting, database storage, email delivery, and a team messaging app that alerts us to new requests (it receives your name and the stay you asked about, not your contact details). If you accept analytics cookies, Google receives details of your visit to run Google Analytics for us. When you open the booking form, Cloudflare checks that you are a person and not an automated program; it receives your IP address and technical details of your browser, and uses them to detect and block bots. All of these providers process data only on our instructions. Cloudflare also uses those details to improve its bot detection, under its own privacy terms. We do not sell your data, and we share it with others only when the law requires us to.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored on servers in Singapore, and some of our service providers may process it in other countries; Google may process analytics data in the United States and elsewhere. When it leaves Thailand we rely on the protections the PDPA requires, including the provider's contractual safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for two years after our last contact with you, then delete it. If your request becomes a rental agreement, we keep what the law requires for that agreement for as long as the law requires. Google Analytics keeps the details of each visit for two months; after that only totals remain, which do not single out any visitor.
Cookies and storage on your device
We use no advertising cookies. These are stored in your browser:
- Analytics cookies, only if you accept them (
_ga, and_ga_followed by an ID) are set by Google Analytics to tell one visit from the next. They last up to two years. - Your cookie choice is kept in your browser's local storage (
mf_analytics_consent), so we do not ask on every page. Change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; saying no deletes the analytics cookies. - A currency cookie (
mf_currency) remembers which currency you chose to see prices in. It lasts one year. - Your saved homes are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and we never see them.
- The dates and guests you choose are kept in your browser's session storage, so they carry from page to page. They are deleted when you close the tab, and we only see them if you send a request to book.
You can clear all of them at any time in your browser settings.
When you open the booking form, a security check from Cloudflare loads with it, and may keep what it needs for that check in your browser. Cloudflare says it does not use it to identify, profile or target anyone.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you can ask us to:
- see the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy
- correct it if it is wrong or incomplete
- delete it, or stop using it for a while
- object to how we use it
- move it to another organisation
- withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect what we did before.
Email info@silqhaus.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
